Any place that goes back-to-basics is a where we love to be. At Firebake, everything embraces traditional methods and old-world values of “breaking bread” together. 

At the heart, their twin wood fire ovens and 1880s refurbished Husqvarna cast iron stoves from Sweden create an authentic and nostalgic atmosphere. This is where their breads and dishes are created, imparted with the aroma of smoke and a depth of flavour that can only come with traditional cooking methods.

Firebake opened two years ago on the East Coast of Singapore. It is truly a venue worth visiting as you enjoy the contrast of vibrant East Coast Road while dining on food made with natural ingredients. Even their bread uses the purest water available.

Growing up on farms and in the countrysides of Greece and Switzerland, founder Konstantino Blokbergen gained a passion for traditional cooking techniques. This history of slow food and honouring traditional methods is what he brings to Firebake.
